Advanced Institute for Manufacturing:
FMCC partners with The Advanced Institute for Manufacturing, or AIM, to provide non-credit and NYS DOL apprenticeship trainings in Fulton and Montgomery Counties. AIM’s mission is to provide small and medium sized manufacturers in the Mohawk Valley Region with training, consulting, and technology services that will lead to new product development, cost reductions, increased efficiency and profits.
AIM is designated by New York Empire State Development’s Division of Science, Technology and Innovation (NYSTAR) and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) as a Manufacturing Extension Partnership Center (MEP). MEP has 588 field locations throughout the United States and more than 1,200 technical field staff.
Center for Employer Services:
FMCC’s Center for Employer Services plays a major role in developing workforce-development initiatives for local businesses. The Center offers customized training programs for businesses and not-for-profit organizations. Programs include, but are not limited to:

The Center schedules programs at the convenience of businesses. Most training is delivered at the business, which saves travel and reduces the time that workers are away from their jobs.
Training grants from the SUNY Workforce Development Grants for Community Colleges can be made available to businesses.
