Scott Henze opened the Public Hearing at 10:00 a.m.
I. INTRODUCTION:
Scott Henze stated that the Public Hearing is being held pursuant to Article 18-A of NY State’s General Municipal Law to obtain public input on an Application for Tax Exemption received by the Fulton County Industrial Development Agency (IDA) from Niagara Bottling, LLC, with offices at 1440 Bridgegate Drive, Diamond Bar California, 91765. Niagara Bottling, LLC is a Limited Liability Company established pursuant to the laws of the State of Delaware and authorized to do business in New York State. The company has requested that the IDA provide financial assistance in the form of a Payment in Lieu of Tax Agreement (PILOT) and Sales Tax Exemption regarding a manufacturing project Niagara Bottling, LLC is proposing in the Tryon Technology Park. The project shall consist of two (2) components:
1. The acquisition of fifty (50) acres of lands owned by the IDA and optioned through Winstanley Enterprises, LLC on County Highway 116 in the Town of Perth.
2. Constructing a 362,440 sq. ft. manufacturing facility to produce bottled water.
The Notice of this Public Hearing was published in the Leader-Herald on Saturday, October 25, 2025. The purpose of this Public Hearing is to obtain public input regarding the granting of financial assistance by the IDA to Niagara Bottling, LLC for their proposed project in the Tryon Technology Park. Anyone wishing to speak should state their name and address and then provide their comments.
II. PUBLIC COMMENTS:
No one spoke at the public hearing.
