Scott Henze opened the Public Hearing at 11:30 a.m.
Scott Henze stated that the Public Hearing is being held pursuant to Article 18-A of NY State’s General Municipal Law to obtain public input on an Application for Tax Exemption received by the Fulton County Industrial Development Agency (IDA) from Decker Drive, LLC, with offices at 55 East Main Street Suite 210, Johnstown NY 12095. Decker Drive, LLC is a Limited Liability Company established pursuant to the laws of the State of New York. The company has requested that the IDA provide financial assistance in the form of a Payment in Lieu of Tax Agreement (PILOT), Sales Tax Exemption and Exemption from Mortgage Recording Tax regarding an office building rehabilitation and expansion project Decker Drive, LLC is proposing in the Crossroads Park. The project shall consist of two (2) components:
1. The acquisition of 2.6 acres of land and a 12,000 s.f. building owned by the Nathan Littauer Hospital located at 110 Decker Drive in the City of Gloversville.
2. Expansion of the 12,000 s.f. building adding an additional 5,000 s.f. of space.
The Notice of this Public Hearing was published in the Leader-Herald on Saturday, October 25, 2025. The purpose of this Public Hearing is to obtain public input regarding the granting of financial assistance by the IDA to Decker Drive, LLC for their proposed project in the Crossroads Park. Anyone wishing to speak should state their name and address and then provide their comments.
